This is my new favourite euphemism.

I think it's mostly about 'wine' or 'the valleys'.

I had a lot of fun sharing my favourite music... plenty of laughs in other parts of the site also...

also got some good advice and was converted from branded to real RC's and introduced to some sensible harm reduction...

thanks to everybody for that.

Also enjoyed sharing anecdotes... the come down thread was a good one... and that thread I started when I had been awake for 4 days and thought the neighbors were spying on me for watching porn late at night. Only here could I have got advice on that one.

Blankets screw you up. Just say no.

OOooh, I 'member...

So many things spring to mind and that's just the posts, never mind the shoutbox.

Anarch dressing up full Walter White on Blod's orders.

Komp's jokes.

Renton's gif reactions generally, but especially when insuflators mentioned that after big sessions they got crystals growing out of their tearducts.

Cautionary tales of horrendously hilarious explosive tryptamine purges.

Long, beautiful trip reports.

The reliably eclectic 'what are you listening to' threads.

The sheer sci-fi-like optimism towards the future of mankind whenever LL lauched a new chemical, or a big vendor did a good pellet sale.

But mostly all the good advice and guidance from everyone here, without which I wouldn't be typing this now. We would all have been in a lot more danger without UKCR.

May the spirit of safe enquiry survive this transitional stage and UKCR with it.

I have heard from him in just about a year, so i hope that he has moved on from drugs and has found happiness or mabey he found his gappy medium. Eitherwsy i hope he is safe.
The chatboard has not been the same since him and tom sellek stopped postiing/joking.

For what it's worth, I spoke with kompressor a few days ago. I think he's had some testing times, but recent news was that he's found love and is in the throes of moving to rural and beautiful parts of Scotland to be with her. More power to him.

I likewise preferred chat when it was livelier (not without its problems all the same, I must say), but I think my fondest memory is perhaps what comes together by chance. I don't trip all that often and it was late in the day that I got into psychedelics, so this would likely have been around the time of the ban. I'd decided on it, acted on it and dropped by simply to see if there were any like minds; it transpired that three other regular members, not by any prior organisation, had the same thought within the window of a couple of hours. By complete coincidence, we'd four of us doing much the same thing at much the same time, and it was as pleasant and as sociable as any time that I have spent here.

Perhaps oddly, I also have a fond memory for some of the more difficult discussions, not often joyful of themselves but sometimes I've experienced more helpful insight from other people into an issue of mine than I'd have expected, and sometimes people have fed back a similar observation in reverse. No single example to highlight, but perhaps my fondest memories of this forum are the many constructive exchanges of mutual understanding and insight (in many and various directions) beyond what could have been assumed.
