3-FPM - chronic high dosage use - stories, discussion, experiences, info... Anything!
#31
No more, hit me so bad I flushed it like quite a few others in here! Judging by my current status I reckon I'll be ok by Saturday, one week on.

I'm just confused as to whether there's some different isomers going around, genuine difference in tolerance or just impure products. The variance in reaction doesn't seem right.

Wow, really didn't expect this thread to go as well as it has done - many thanks to everyone who's opened up and posted their experiences...

I did promise to post about my own trials and tribulations regarding this little demon of a substance, however they are far too many, dark and diverse to write about in full without making endless walls of text - for the sake of convenience (and because I'm fairly busy with other things IRL at the moment), if anyone's interested, then please feel free to browse the posts on my profile - I'm pretty sure there's some stories and hints there, and after all, for the sake of HR, I've nothing to hide regarding my use of 3-FPM...

If anyone wants some real details, then do feel free to PM me - I'll answer all messages sincerely and with respect :)

Wilf - this is an excellent thread. As I have to keep my drug use in real life hidden the best I can , I instinctively recoil from coming over all confessional even on public forums, so have so far desisted from contributing to this thread. But anyway if only for self confession here's my experiences/thoughts with 3-fpm so far..

On the question on chronic high dosage - Whilst I have got such great info from UKCR over the years, I really dislike the way I sometimes use this forum to justify and validate my own usage. I have lost count of the number of times I have read reports of people buying 10, 20, 30 grams of 3-fpm in disbelief, or of 10 grams usage over 4 or 5 days, and convinced myself , by way of comparison I have no problems with the stuff at all.

'Binge using' for me has been those seemingly money saving, but notorious 3 gram deals from BB. When I have bought
3 grams , I have typically consumed over a 10 day period. 500 mg at tops on a day off work over a 12 hour period, or
100 mg at the most on a work day. When the 3 gram bag has gone, I have usually breath a massive sigh of relief, think 'thank fuck for that', make a vowel not to bother again (the resolution lasts for approximately 7 days) , then when I am fit and well, think what harm could there possibly be in one line, even though rationally I perfectly realise this notion is absurd (but since when were humans purely rational?), and so the cycle repeats...

More typically I buy just 0.5 grams, or just 1 gram at a time purely for harm reduction, on the grounds once its gone its gone, and that will be it for a week. This commendable rare bit of common sense which I practice was derailed by talk of the blanket ban coming by 6th April , which gave me the justification to buy 3 grams of on 3 separate occasions , as this was going to be  'the last order ever' and by way of a swansong to 3-fpm. Needless to say that didn't go too well.

So I am guessing I fit into the use of a functional user, or even perhaps a functioning addict. In answer to your question does 3-fpm 'fit well with my life' , I take great care to eat regular meals, hold down a desk job, and have a partner, exercise, socialise with 'straight' friends ( when I say 'straight' they all smoke weed, but for whatever reason stim use remains off limits -which is probably a wise decision) As to what extent my usage has interfered with my 'regular' life, it would be naïve and self deluding to say that it hasn't. I have normally had a great sick record at work, but in Feb had to ring in sick with 'the flu'/heavy cold' , which was most likely down to binge using at the weekend, and 2 days last month ,when I simply couldn't hack work. I have 'got away' with it so far, relying on my previous good 'rep' built up over time, but the warning signs are there.

My partner/GF ,as an ex recreational stim user , and who is a fairly astute person who now no longer uses, I suspect knows about my usage (we don't live together, and I mostly use by myself) , but if she does, the topic never gets mentioned. Which either means my usage is not noticed, or more likely she realises that while I do use, I now try and keep it as responsible as I can as she maybe uses my previous usage as a benchmark to measure that against, as 3 or 4  years ago I did have a few
2 day benders ( we did have a few run ins when I used to completely get off my face on now banned stuff back in the halcyon UKCR days of 2012/13). When I don't see my girlfriend we email/facebook message , and I sometimes worry my rambling posts give the game away. Or maybe that's paranoia on my part?

Interest wise -I like politics, history, current affairs, philosophy, walks, socialising, love most varieties of music, cinema.
All of which has been my saving grace at times from getting too involved in drugs and 3-fpm . However again I think it would be naïve and self deluding not to think all my other interests have not been blunted by my self absorbtion with 3-fpm/rc's.

I don't think its all negatve with 3-fpm usage though. The day after say fairly light usage, I have felt fairly productive and sociable at work. However whilst that is my subjective perception, I am more than aware that what can seem to be gems of wisdom from a stim user, can come across as repetitive rambling to the non user. So maybe the verdict is out on this one.

On my emotions generally on 3-fpm. Sometimes I feel there is a blunting/numbing effect, as when I am on it, which I have occasionally worried about. As being /appearing indifferent is usually a recipe for trouble ahead if you want to keep friendships or a relationship. However I have also found light 3-fpm use to be of help, and not a hindrance recently, when my partner was going through a really tough time a few weeks ago with her mother had a stroke , and died later after being a week in a hospice. Although only communicating by email/sykpe/internet as her parents live hundreds of miles away , I felt focussed ,and not going off at a tangent/digressing as I do sometimes on higher doses. More importantly capable of providing support/empathy when it mattered.

As to why I use? Really its a no brainer- cheap and so easy to obtain without ever leaving the flat. Despite its inferiority to its illegal counterparts. I love the first line the most . I usually snort as I prefer the instant hit. (yes I know oral is more sensible, but there it is) Typically 50 mg . Which is followed by one hour of euphoria and escape. To be repeated by a second line which is approximately 50% as good as the first line, to be followed by a third line , which in turn is half as good as the second line. It is the dopamine hit I am after. Which is as self gratuitous as it sounds.

In conclusion I think 3-fpm is fine, if you could stick to say no more than 150 mg usage no more than once a week. That way you get all the benefits, and no negative impact spillage into other areas of your life. Think of the savings too ! A 3 gram bag would make for 20 150 mg sessions, which would last for 20 weeks, or even longer. At least that is the theory. How often is this the case in practice?

A quick queation for everyone who likes to vape their stiff. Has anybody here experienced any kind of discomfort/pain/damage/serious long term side effetcts on the mouth/throat/teeth etc which they feel is likely caused by their
3-fpm usage?

This is going to sound really, really grim, but at the peak of my heavy vaping use, I found that I could cough up sputum that would crystallise and be smokable... If that's not fucked up I don't know what is - god only knows how my lungs have been affected, but at the moment all seems ok - I like to do a bit of hardcore hiking around the coutryside where I live now and then, and so far my breathing  / heart rate and stamina seem to be as good as they always have been, thankfully...

How long have you been using 3F?

Some of the sights that I've coughed up / blow nose. wow. Could easily make a disgusting thread of the sights!

I feel my breathing is getting worse and worse, but saying that I hardly do any exercise.

Mm, getting on for around a year now; daily in varying amounts for maybe 7-8 months...

I think with stims in particular, self-care is both important and easy to lose track of; at the very least, food, water and sleep are essential, as well as keeping any benzo use to an absolute minimum - also getting out as much as possible and maintaining social contact by any means.

And yeah, the constant vaping is pretty rough - have you tried bombing it instead, with lots of water?

Started using 3-fpm a few years back, i'd been using base for about 5 years, 3-fpm was my idea of compromise. I've been cutting down to get off it before I run out, after 3 days with none at all, I was to drained to move, just laying on my sofa, I think when it's all gone I may have a problem. Oh well that's not todays problem .

Maybe either ride out the lethargy because you will pick back up after or if you can't deal then you obviously need to reduce your intake a bit slower.
Peace

I have abused 3-FPM to the point of 1g a day but mostly did around 10g's a month.

My advise would be try and cut down buy 10% weekly. That's if you have enough for such a cut.

The lethargy for me when I just stopped use as you did lasted for just under a week, I also felt depressed and could not be bothered with anything. Couldn't even follow a storyline of a TV show. So I just watched Family Guy and American Dad for a week and a half, ate 3 meals a day, drank only water and every day I started to feel better and better.

It's ironic how much energy I have when not abusing this stim.

Feel free to PM me if you need anything. Best of luck. Watch out for benzo use too.
